Our story

How it all started

Our founder, Olcay Has, travelled through Italy, tasting different types of pasta in every city she visited. With each bite, she thought:
 “Why isn’t there fresh, fast pasta in London?
Why should people only eat pasta in certain restaurants, in a certain way?”
This question inspired the birth of BIGOLI.
Because pasta shouldn’t just be for special occasions – it should also be there when you’re rushing to work, relaxing on a bench in the park, or simply craving a bowl of it.And Olcay is not only an entrepreneur, but also a mother.
That’s why every plate of BIGOLI carries a mother’s touch: clean, healthy, fresh, and lovingly prepared.Our name comes from Bigoli, a traditional pasta from Italy’s Veneto region with roots dating back to the 14th century. Like its namesake, BIGOLI is strong, authentic, and made for every moment of life.
Today, BIGOLI brings Italian tradition to London – offering you pasta that’s fast, fresh, and never compromises on flavour.
