Tomato sauce, basil, olive oil and garlic. The simplest plate on the counter and the one to start with.

The pasta is extruded here at 123 City Road every morning from durum wheat semolina and water, and cooked when you order it. Nothing is frozen and nothing is reheated.

Vegan as served: there is no egg in our dough, and Parmesan is served on the side, so you can leave it off. Choose any of our six shapes: penne, rigatoni, spaghetti, fusilli, fettuccine or bigoli. An X-Large portion is £2 more.

£7.90 at the counter. Eat in or take away. For children, Pomodoro on penne is £5.90.
