Office catering in Old Street

Most office catering arrives cold, because most caterers are not nearby. We are at 123 City Road, a ten-minute walk from most of Old Street, Shoreditch and Silicon Roundabout. The pasta is extruded here on the morning of your booking and cooked to order for your slot, so it has a short walk to travel instead of a drive across London.

Build your order below and we will call you back to confirm it and agree the price.

Bulk pre-order

Build your order and we will call you back with a price

Pick a dish, say how many, press Add. It goes into your order above the picker so you can see the whole thing building up. When it looks right, send it — we ring you back to confirm the order and agree the price. Nothing is charged here.

When do you need it?

We ask for orders by 16:00 the day before. Later than that, send it anyway and call us — we will tell you straight away whether we can still do it.

When you want it in your hands. Everything is cooked to order for that slot.

Collecting, or shall we send it?

No minimum if you collect — four people or forty, it is welcome. Delivery is for orders of £150 and over. There are no prices on this form, so we total it up and tell you on the call; if it comes in under, we set it up as collection instead.

Only if you chose delivery. Floor and reception name help -- couriers lose time in lobbies.

What would you like?

Every shape is made on site that morning, so put the shape you want in the note — penne, rigatoni, spaghetti, fusilli, bigoli or fettuccine.

Pick a dish, say how many, and press Add. Keep going until the list above is right.

Line 4

One line per dish. Leave any lines you do not need blank. If you want more than 4 dishes, list the rest in the notes below and we will pick them up on the call.

Who do we call?

We ring you back to confirm the order and agree the price, so we do need a number.

Where the written confirmation and the VAT invoice go.

The name the invoice should be in.

Allergies, how many vegan or gluten-free portions, whether you want individual boxes or sharing trays, parking, anything at all. Gluten-free penne is cooked in separate water, and the kitchen also handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg and crustaceans.

No price is shown or paid on this page. We quote on the call, because the format changes the cost — individual boxes, sharing trays and build-your-own are not the same job. Would rather talk? Call 020 3838 2015 or email info@bigoli.com.

What you get

Hot pasta, made to order, three ways

Hot food has to leave the kitchen above 63°C and be eaten within two hours, and fresh pasta keeps cooking in its own residual heat — so every extra minute in transit costs texture. A kitchen in Park Royal burns that window on the drive. We do not have that journey.

Catering comes out of the same kitchen as our Old Street restaurant, cooked to order for your slot rather than made the night before.

  • An individual Bigoli box of penne with sausage and red onion, labelled and ready to hand out

    For meetings and desk lunches

    Individual boxes

Everyone gets their own, labelled with the dish. Best when people are eating at their desks or straight after a meeting.

  • Penne with broccoli, mozzarella and sausage, boxed at the Bigoli counter

    For teams eating together

    Sharing trays

Served with tongs and plates. One tray serves four. Better value and better for a table everyone gathers round.

  • Fusilli in tomato sauce with fresh herbs, cooked to order at Bigoli

    The counter menu, scaled up

    Build your own

Choose the shapes, the sauces and the toppings for your group. Same six shapes, same sixteen sauces.

Fresh pasta extruded on site each morning from semolina and water. Sauces made in-house, no additives and no preservatives. Vegan sauces on every menu. Gluten-free penne, cooked in separate water.

  • Spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce with fresh basil at Bigoli
  • Fusilli with peppers, tomato and basil in a Bigoli box
  • Fettuccine in a creamy mushroom and onion sauce at Bigoli
  • Spaghetti and meatballs in a Bigoli takeaway box with fresh basil

How it works

The terms, in full

Collection, delivery, notice and invoicing, in plain terms, so you know exactly what you are sending before you send it.

  • NoneMinimum if you collect. Any size of order
  • £150Minimum for delivery only
  • 16:00Order by, the day before
  • VATInvoice in your company name, sent the same day
  • PriceNot shown online and nothing is paid online. Send the order and we will ring you back to confirm it and agree the price.
  • MinimumNone at all if you collect — a meeting for four is as welcome as a floor of forty. Delivery is for orders of £150 and over. Below that we still take the order; it just becomes collection, and we tell you on the call.
  • Lead timeOrder by 16:00 the day before. For groups up to fifteen, call us the same morning and it will usually be ready for lunch. A late request is a phone call, not a refusal — send the order anyway and ring us.
  • CollectionFree, and no minimum. Ready when you arrive, boxed and labelled.
  • DeliveryFor orders of £150 and over. We arrange a courier and charge it at cost, local to EC1V 1JB.
  • InvoicingVAT invoice in your company name, sent the same day and reclaimable by most businesses.
  • DietaryTell us the vegan, no-nuts and gluten-free numbers in the notes and they come labelled. The kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg and crustaceans.
  • OrderingDirect only — the order form, the phone or email. Catering is not ordered through the delivery apps: they cannot issue a VAT invoice in your company name and a thermal backpack will not hold fifteen boxes.

Before you book

Frequently asked

How much does office catering cost?

There is no price on this page and nothing is paid online, because the format changes the cost — individual boxes, sharing trays and build-your-own are not the same job. Build your order with the dishes and numbers you want, send it, and we will ring you back to confirm it and agree the price.

What happens after I send the order?

It lands with the shop as an itemised list. We ring the number you gave us, check the dishes and the timing, agree the price with you and confirm it in writing. Nothing is booked and nothing is owed until you have said yes on that call.

Is there a minimum order?

Not for collection — a meeting for four is as welcome as a floor of forty. Delivery is for orders of £150 and over. If you are under that we will still take the order, it just becomes collection, and we will tell you when we call.

How far do you deliver?

Most orders are collected from us at 123 City Road, a ten-minute walk from most of Old Street, Shoreditch and Clerkenwell. For orders of £150 and over we book a courier and charge it at cost. Ask if you are further out and we will tell you honestly whether it still arrives hot.

How much notice do you need?

By 16:00 the day before. For groups of up to fifteen, call us in the morning and it will usually be ready for lunch — we are ten minutes away and we cook to order, so a same-day request is a phone call, not a crisis. If you have missed the cut-off, send the order anyway and ring us.

Can you cover vegan, nut-free and gluten-free?

Vegan sauces are on every menu. Gluten-free penne, cooked in separate water — the kitchen still handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg and crustaceans, so it is not a gluten-free kitchen and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from any allergen. Put the numbers in the notes and those boxes come labelled.

Do you cater in the evening?

Yes. We are open until 23:00 on weekdays and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Can you do a weekly standing order?

Yes. Tell us the day and the usual numbers and we will hold the slot each week so you do not have to reorder.
