This is what is on the counter at 123 City Road. The prices here are our counter prices — delivery platforms charge their own.
Pasta from £7.90. Tomato-based and creamy sauces, six shapes, X-Large portion +£2. Gluten-free penne is available, cooked in separate water.
Antipasti from £2.00 — focaccia, arancini, Italian meatballs and mac 'n' cheese bites. Pasta-based salads from £7.90. Desserts £3.90. Wine and beer are on the counter menu in the shop.
The pasta is extruded here every morning from semolina and water. Sauces are made in-house. Nothing is frozen, nothing is reheated, and every plate is cooked when it is ordered.
Vegan as served: Pomodoro e Basilico, Arrabbiata, Aglio Olio Peperoncino and focaccia. Parmesan always comes on the side, so it is your decision. Anything made with pesto contains nuts.

Pasta starts at £7.90 because the expensive part is not the ingredients — it is making it on the premises instead of buying it dried. Two ingredients, one extruder, every morning.

Your pasta goes into the water after you have ordered, and the sauce goes on after that. Sauces are made in-house, with no additives and no preservatives.

The same counter menu, scaled up and boxed for your slot. No minimum if you collect; delivery is for orders of £150 and over. Order by 16:00 the day before.

Questions about the menu
Which pasta dishes are vegan?
Pomodoro e Basilico, Arrabbiata and Aglio Olio Peperoncino, plus the Vegetarian sauce, and focaccia from the antipasti. Parmesan is always served on the side, so it is your decision. Norma, Pesto and Tartufo are vegetarian rather than vegan.
Do you do gluten-free pasta?
Gluten-free penne, cooked in separate water. The kitchen still handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg and crustaceans, so it is not a gluten-free kitchen and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from any allergen. Tell us before you order and we will talk you through it.
Which dishes contain crustaceans?
Gamberi is a prawn dish and contains crustaceans, and so does the prawn topping. Anything else you are unsure about, ask at the counter before you order and we will tell you exactly what is in it.
How big is an X-Large portion?
A larger portion of the same dish, £2 on top of the counter price, on any pasta.
Why are the Deliveroo and Uber Eats prices different?
Because the platforms take a commission and set their own menu prices. The prices on this page are the counter prices at 123 City Road.
Can I order online for collection?
No, and that is deliberate. Choose your shape and sauce here, then say it at the counter or call 020 3838 2015 and we will have it boxed. Every plate is cooked when it is ordered, so it is made after you ask, not before.
What goes into the pasta itself?
Durum wheat semolina and water, extruded on the premises each morning through a brass die. Nothing is dried, frozen or bought in, and the sauces are made in-house with no additives and no preservatives.
