City Road runs from Old Street roundabout north towards Angel, and we are about 80 metres up it from the station — so walk north, not south. Look for a red shopfront with a striped awning. You pass us before you reach Moorfields Eye Hospital, not after.

What happens before you arrive
The pasta is extruded here each morning
Before the doors open, durum wheat semolina and water go through a brass die and come out as six shapes: penne, rigatoni, spaghetti, fusilli, bigoli and fettuccine. They then sit raw. Nothing is frozen, nothing is reheated, and nothing goes into the water until somebody at the counter asks for it — which is why a plate cooked from scratch is still ready in minutes.
Sauces are made in-house on the same premises, with no additives and no preservatives. Gluten-free penne is cooked in separate water. Our kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg and crustaceans, and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from any allergen. Vegan sauces are on the counter every day and Parmesan is always served on the side.

No. It is counter service — order at the till and sit down after. If you are feeding a team, order catering instead.
